A group of police cadets have made a hard hitting film about knife crime. Met PC Sand Gakhal, based in Redbridge, worked with the four who have made the video to discourage youngsters from carrying weapons. It featuring interviews with an ex-offender, PC Paul Peterson from the Met, a murder victim's father and an ambulance responder, as well as some fictional scenes involving youngsters making choices about knives.

If only young people would listen, would stop and think. Sadly young people have no respect for life, theirs or anyone elses which is so sad. Knive and gun crime has such a knock on effect not just for the family and friends of the victim but also the family and friends of the perpetrators. If only they would listen, stop and think.
