The Federation is calling for forces to invest in 3rd generation body armour now and not to hold off until their current kit needs replacing. It is the first time that the armour has been made with gender specific designs alongside other...

New approved body armour 'is lighter with more protection'

The Federation's Wellbeing Lead, Belinda Goodwin, told Police Oracle that the 3rd Generation Body Armour has been approved and is urging forces to upgrade.
