Senior Accommodation Support Officer

Red Snapper Recruitment are recruiting for a Senior Accommodation Support Officer

The purpose of this role is to ensure delivery of effective interventions and stakeholder liaison in custody and in the community in order to support male participants throughout the region to address their housing needs and reduce their likelihood of reoffending.

Salary: £26,150 – £32,668 per annum (dependent on experience)
Location: Exeter based, managing cases across Exeter. Travel around local area when required to attend meetings and participant appointments.
Hours: Full time, 37 hours per week (Mon-Fri)
Contract: Fixed Term 01 May 2025
Closing Date: 07 November 2024

Main duties and responsibilities
 

• Assist the Accommodation Team Manager in continuous improvement to practice and the delivery of a high-quality service
• Provide specialist housing advice and guidance to participants and employees
• Provide workshops to all members of the team to develop their standards of practice
• Build and maintain effective working relationships with all stakeholders
• Manage a small number of complex cases

Person Specification
 

• Experience and knowledge of housing legislation and options
• Highly effective interpersonal and communication skills both verbally and in writing
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships
• Experience or knowledge of the work of the Criminal Justice System
• Good organisation skills and ability to meet deadlines

Role is subject to DBS check at the relevant level.
