RSR are looking for a Intelligence Officer to work on a 6 month contract in Ryton-on-Dunsmore.

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Administrator to work as a Intelligence Development Administrator on a long-term, full-time contract based at Ryton-on-Dunsmore, Warwickshire.
The role is office based.
The role is paying between £13.53p and £14.38p per hour (PAYE) depending on experience.
Job profile:
The post holder will be responsible for supporting either the Intelligence, Freight or Ports portfolios. Providing information, intelligence management, research development and administration functions.
Main Responsibilities:
1. The post holder will be responsible for stakeholder engagement, high volume data processing and intelligence dissemination.
2. Being confident and accurate user of the IT systems used by NaVCIS. Including intelligence systems/databases, Outlook, Excel and filing systems. Managing high volumes of data on various platforms and multiple email inboxes.
3. The Post Holder will be required to utilise PNC, VODS, Police intelligence systems and HPI as a minimum to support the live NaVCIS intelligence/freight function.
4. To assist in the development of intelligence and the strategic response by maintaining a working knowledge of NaVCIS issues.
5. The post holder will regularly liaise with NaVCIS consultants and Officers and staff to enable role support, and undertake accurate preparation and delivery of the tasking process document to management.
6. To provide high quality administration for NaVCIS Intelligence and Freight functions, responding to calls and emails or signposting as required.
7. To maintain appropriate level of generic equipment, stationery and marketing materials
8. The post holder will also be required to assist with NaVCIS vehicle fleet administration and management.
Ports / Intelligence:
1. The role holder will support the day to day management of the Ports mailbox, the main source of NaVCIS information and intelligence relating to the export of vehicles from the UK
2. The role holder will be required to identify stolen vehicle export through research of police systems and vehicle related documents
3. Providing assistance to the ports team by liaising with partner agencies and industry partners
4. To assist the Ports Team in producing accurate data for analysis
Freight:
1. The role holder will be responsible for the day to day management of the Freight database, which is a comprehensive database of all UK Freight crime and is used for intelligence and information research to produce intelligence profiles and reports for industry and police forces to assist with identifying suspects and OCG’s (Organised Crime Groups)
2. To assist the Analysts in producing reports for forces to assist with identifying suspects and OCG’s.
3. Provide support for an excellent service to sponsors, members and victims by ensuring they form the core of any investigation and by keeping them updated when required.
4. To assist the NaVCIS Freight Team in planning, organising and attending training and conference events
Experience:
Essential:
At least 1 year’s experience working in a busy office environment.
Proven IT skills, using Windows-based packages, in particular Microsoft Word, Powerpoint and advanced Excel skills.
Experience in handling quantitative and qualitative data.
The proven ability to combine information from multiple sources / systems, maintain databases or similar systems and summarise information.
Desirable:
Experience of working in a research role within an intelligence environment.
