Applications are invited from substantive Inspectors seeking transfer, and substantive Sergeants who are appropriately qualified (including those in temporary and acting Sergeant Positions) from Home Office Forces.
Applications will open on 10 March 2025 and can be accessed through the Nottinghamshire Police recruitment portal. The closing date for applications to be submitted is 11:59pm on 04 April 2025. Please allow sufficient time for first and second line managers to complete their sections of the application form. External candidates must also have first and second line managers complete the relevant sections of the application form.
Shortlisting results will be communicated week commencing 07 April 2025 and if your application is successfully shortlisted you will be put through to the next stage of the process and you will be sent an email from your recruitment account.
Interviews are currently scheduled to take place between 22 April 2025 and 02 May 2025.
Please note that applications and subsequent interviews will be based on the revised Competency and Values Framework (CVF) released by the College of Policing in 2024.
Successful candidates who are qualified through the Ospre route, will be required to undertake the 12 month Work Based Assessment (Step 4 NPPF) following promotion.
