Applicants must be suitably experienced, competent and credible for immediate promotion to rank of Superintendent in the West Midlands Police. In all but exceptional circumstances, candidates must have a minimum of 2 years’ substantive promotion to the rank of Chief Inspector and have demonstrated effective leadership across two different command responsibilities at this rank.
